POER Tools implementation

The implementation of the POER Tools focussed on the development of a post-event data classification strategy according to the third processing chain. The concrete processing chain designed for a post-event classification scenario involving the presented operator is depicted below.


The operator takes as input the class labels of the first epoch as vector data and an image of the same geographic region taken at a second date (post-event). For the estimation of the class labels for the post-event situation a Hidden Markov Model (HMM) is applied. The interested reader is referred to Feitosa et al. (2014). The POER HMM Cascade is available in InterIMAGE (version 1.40 or higher).

Where can one find and download POER Tools?

The POER tools are available within the InterIMAGE software, in order to use them one needs first to download and install InterIMAGE version 1.40 or higher, available here.
